Today we finished a new tooling for a custom shaped metal pencil tin box with heavily embossed pencil tin lid. 

This pencil tin is made for a South AMerican client after they ordered 200,000 rectangular pencil tins in 2014 with good satisifaction. Early Summer, the client told us their idea but they were not sure how the pencil tin will look like. Tinpak's team worked out a 3D visual effect for the client to check size, shape and positioning of the graphics. When they received the digital 3D file, they were marvelled at our job with a big thumb. One month later, they came to us with question that if Tinpak can help them soure stickers and pencils. As a metal packaging sulution provider, Tinpak is not capable to make good quality tin boxes, but also be capable with sourcing services. One week later after we knew the client's concern and got the details on stickers and pencil, our sourcing team managed to get samples of stickers and pencils as well as with good prices. Without hesitation, the client confirmed us the order of 200K sets of pencil tins after they received the samples of stickers and pencils by end August.

Early in Sept., since the client sent us embossing file, our tooling engineers started to work on the new tooling of the pencil tins. To make sure the embossing effect will make the client happy, the engineers prepared a embossed sample with plastic and sent pictures of the mockup embossing aside with the embossing artwork. Without surprise, the client was happy with the embossing work provided by Tinpak engineers.

Now we are confident the client will be happy with the samples of pencil tins upon receipt of the finished sample pencil tins. Upon receipt of their approval, we can start the mass production by mid October.
